À propos de l'événement

In the ever-changing world of work that we live in, employee burnout has become a broad enough global concern that it was specifically declared as an organizational phenomenon by the World Health Organization in 2019. According to a 2021 survey by Ceridian, 84% of Canadian workers have felt burned out amid the coronavirus pandemic. Not only does this issue lead to detrimental mental, emotional, and physical health issues for the employee, it also has the potential to adversely impact the quality of their work, the work environment, and the overall business as a whole.

Although burnout is generally an organizational issue, there is a prevalent misconception that burnout and professional satisfaction are solely the responsibility of the individual. Many effective interventions are relatively inexpensive, and small investments can have a large impact. This session covers a variety of risk factors that lead to burnout, how to identify burnout in employees, and how to mitigate the circumstances that can lead to burnout.
